If you come at the right time of year, Boreas River offers some fine whitewater, and close by you locate the Dividing Ridge Trail which is a great hiking trail. Just can't get enough of Lester Flow. Hit the slopes at Gore Mountain close by, and Lester Flow is good enough to spend more than a day at, Smoke Rise Campsites is a good local campground. Having       a splendid time in the Adirondack Mountains is simple. There's some flowing water close by, Brant Brook is a stream you can have a look at while here, and going for a hike on the Van Hoevenberg Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lester Flow you can catch a sight of Hewitt Pond Mountain; Lester Dam is picturesque. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lester Flow while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. Highs through                  the winter are regularly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lester Flow are in the 0's. The Elk Lake Marcy Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Lester Flow, and dry warm beds await you at Copperfield Inn. Lester Flow is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
