The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All year is a magnificent time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. There are tremendous places to explore along the Van Hoevenberg Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lester Flow has to offer, you can camp at Smoke Rise Campsites. Summertime highs at Lester Flow typically tend to be in the 70's, and all       through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lester Flow temperatures plunge to the 0's. Hewitt Pond Mountain is pretty and can be made out from Lester Flow, and Lester Dam is a beautiful spot. Head up to Gore Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Boreas River - Upper. And that's not all you can do here                  at Lester Flow. Brant Brook is a tremendous local stream; there's whitewater on Boreas River for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lester Flow you come across the Elk Lake Marcy Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lester Flow; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Dividing Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Lake Placid. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains.
