Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a fine site to get some rest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Lester Flow has to offer. There are other places here than Lester Flow, for example Cheney Pond; get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Boreas River. Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lester Flow. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the       50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Lester Flow night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. There is a delightful hiking trail near Lester Flow called the Dividing Ridge Trail; why not a little side trip to Brant Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Smoke Rise Campsites is a perfect campground nearby, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Gore                  Mountain is relatively near. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a glorious choice, and there's whitewater on Boreas River - Upper for all you adrenaline people. So many enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains, just remarkable. If you came for an overnight stay Cedar Pond Campground is a good site to camp; lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Black Pond. Near Lester Flow you come across the Van Hoevenberg Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Lester Dam is lovely. Hewitt Pond Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Lester Flow, and the Elk Lake Marcy Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by.
