Going for a hike along the Oregon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Lakes are magnificent; Little Pond is a lake that's right next door to Lens Lake. Lens Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lens Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. This is a glorious vicinity for people       who like lakes. Middle Flow is a lake in the vicinity, and a nice close by hotel is Super 8 Lake George Resort. You simply must like the Adirondack Mountains. Paddling on Roaring Branch is so much fun, and a brilliant location to camp here at Lens Lake is Sacandaga Campground. For the duration of the summertime at Lens Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime the                  highs are regularly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lens Lake are in the 0's. Lens Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The vista of Seneca Mountain from Lens Lake is wonderful, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Gore Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Stony Creek; if you need a location to stay Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a nice choice.
