This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beaver Kill River, and you can hit the slopes at Holiday Mountain in the neighborhood. Why not camp at Camp Rayim while you're here at Lenape Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a perfect choice. This       lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Denman Lake, and Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is a good national park. Lenape Lake is a wet spot that gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lenape Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows                  through the wintertime for Lenape Lake tend to be in the 10's. Camp Shomria is a glorious local campground, and swamps don’t sound that pleasant but Pine Swamp next to Lenape Lake is relatively pleasant. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
