If you are in Greene county it's always a good idea to stop by Leach Lake. Why not camp at Torchlight Campsites if you're here at Leach Lake, and hey, Gotta ski right? Windham Mountain is a pleasant spot to do that. A common amount of rain falls here at Leach Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. | | days highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Leach Lake fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. wanna go home again. If you need a place to stay Hotel Mountain Brook is a great choice; if you're here, you could also stop at delightful Lake Rip Van Winkle. Whitewater paddling is good on Saw Kill River, and there are delightful
sites to explore along the Phoenicia Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Hotel Vienna, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Colonial Country Club. That right there is loads of fun things already but
it goes on, the Catskill Mountains has it all. A pleasant site to camp here at Leach Lake is Doherty's Mountain Campground, and going for a hike on the Willow Trail is always a good adventure. If only every site had this much
outdoors fun things, what a great earth it would be. People from Kingston love to come to Leach Lake. Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Leach Lake. The peak of Clum Hill can be made out from Leach Lake,
and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Plattekill Creek. Allen Brook flows through this neighborhood, and you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Onteora Pond.
