The beauty of Lawson Lake attracts many people from all around. The warmest time of the year at Lawson Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's; nighttime lows at Lawson Lake during the winter mostly fall into the 10's. The summit of Bennett Hill can be made out from Lawson Lake, and Alcove Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could

Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Basic Creek, and scenic scenery and nice skiing is what you acquire at Hunter Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Sycamore Country Club. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you get bored of Lawson Lake, you could also pop by close by Helderberg Lake, and Stardust Motor Inn is a magnificent
place to get some rest. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Catskill Mountains. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Hannacrois Creek, and you're sure to run into some nice folks from Albany-Schenectady-Troy here.
