It's always fun to stop by Laurel Lake. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Mill Brook, and fine skiing awaits you at Ski Plattekill. Laurel Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Laurel Lake is delightful fun, Covered Bridge Campsite is a delightful local campground, and if you need a site to stay Bruce Inn is a tremendous

This site, the Catskill Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Laurel Lake is a perfect location to camp, Hunter Lake Campgrounds is a perfect location; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tremper Kill River. At Laurel Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of | |

the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Laurel Lake tend to be in the 10's. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Belleayre, and a short spree to Tompkins Falls
is always worthwhile.
And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Laurel Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Beaverkill Valley Inn, and Hunt Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Laurel Lake. This lake
is so wonderful. Laurel Lake is located in the Catskill Mountains.
