Here at Lake Lauderdale you can catch a sight of Mount Colfax; since you're here you can take a hike along the West Ridge Trail. Head up to West Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Batten Kill       River is a fine whitewater spot near Lake Lauderdale, and a lake nearby is Schoolhouse Lake. Have a good hiking adventure along the Healing Springs Nature Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping is a great spot to camp. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Lauderdale. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight                  here at Lake Lauderdale. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bennington here, and going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
