Why not stop by Lake Lauderdale if you're passing through these parts. Really perfect skiing awaits you at West Mountain, and Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the West Ridge Trail is brilliant fun, and why not camp at Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds if you're here at Lake Lauderdale. Lots of people from Bennington come to Lake Lauderdale, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Willard

From Lake Lauderdale you obtain a great panorama of Mount Colfax, and after a long day outdoors Best Western New Englander Motor Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Batten Kill River. Any time is a good time at Lake Lauderdale if you love the outdoors. Lake Lauderdale is right by the Healing Springs Nature Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Battenkill River.

Lake Lauderdale gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Take a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail, and
a good close by hotel is Alexandra B and B. At Lake Lauderdale throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Lauderdale.
