New York has many beautiful lakes and Latham Pond is one of them. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Shattuck Clearing is a magnificent site here at Latham Pond, and the McKenzie Pond Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Be careful coming to Latham Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. The skiing at Mount Pisgah is pleasant; if you need a spot to stay THE HOTEL SARANAC is a pleasant choice.

| | Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. A short tour to Big Eddy is always worthwhile; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cold River.
Whitewater paddling is great on Rock River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Whispering woods, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Indian Pass | |

Latham Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. If you're here at Latham Pond, you could stop at Boulder Brook, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Mountain Lake Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two. This
lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Latham Pond, you could also have a look at pretty Seward Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Latham Pond has to offer, you can camp at Donaldson George A and Sons.
High temperatures at Latham Pond during the summertime are in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Latham Pond temperatures
sink to the 0's. Latham Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February.
