When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Lapland Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is The Sagamore, and beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Willard Mountain. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Blue Lagoon       on Lake Georg is a wonderful place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Treadway Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure. And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Mettawee River, and at Lapland Pond you can spot Black Mountain. Lots of folks from Glens Falls come to Lapland Pond; paddling on La Chute River is so much fun. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Lapland Pond called                  the Lost Pond Trail, and camping is available at Green Acres By The Brook. Lapland Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. So much amusing stuff to do here at Lapland Pond, too magnificent to be true. Why not camp at Adirondack Camp since you're here at Lapland Pond, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Berrymile Pond Trail. Not far from Lapland Pond, you'll discover Greenland Pond which is a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful.
