For the period of the days of summer at The Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at The Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes The Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest       month of the year is February. A splendid place in close proximity to The Lake is Roosevelt Island Reef. Hazard Beach is near The Lake and is a lovely beach to stop by; you can stay the night at Liberty Harbor RV Park. So much exciting stuff to do at The Lake, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at The Lowell; lots of folks from New York-Newark-Edison come here. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national                  park worth visiting. Lakes are nice; Harlem Meer is a lake that's in the neighborhood of The Lake. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Sterling Forest, and if you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at N Y C Golf Club. The Lucerne is a great location to get some rest.
