A splendid place to camp here at The Lake is Camp Experts & Teen Summrs, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sterling Forest. At The Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at The Lake drop into the 10's. Spend the day       on the beach at Hazard Beach since you're here at The Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from New York-Newark-Edison here. The Lake generally gets a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls all through May while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than The Lake, for example Harlem Meer, and dry warm beds await you at Park 79 Hotel. Camping is available at Camp Wildwood, and golf can be played at N                  Y C Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Gateway National Recreation Area if you're here at The Lake, and Roosevelt Island Reef is a magnificent place to go to. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time.
