The scenery at Grays Pond Dam near The Lake in the Ledges is scenic, and there are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here. Dry warm beds await you at Wellesley Inn Armonk, and you could always explore Mianus Gorge. Just can't get enough of The Lake in the Ledges. Norwalk River is a great whitewater spot close to The Lake in the Ledges, and camping       at The Lake in the Ledges is pleasant fun, Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a pleasant local campground. The Lake in the Ledges is a fine place to camp, Kettletown State Park is a fine place, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Thunder Ridge if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Near The Lake in the Ledges you hit upon a golf course called Pound Ridge Golf Club, and naturally, this is a splendid neighborhood for people who like                  lakes, Grays Pond is a lake in the vicinity. If you need a spot to stay Cos Cob Inn is a perfect choice, and why not a little side tour to Grays Pond Brook. The high level of rainfall makes The Lake in the Ledges a reasonably wet place; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is typically the driest month. Through the long summer days at The Lake in the Ledges highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's.
