A visit to Lake Welch is always a good idea. This place, Lake Welch, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Swamps like Grape Swamp are fun to have a look at, and going for a hike along the Woodtown Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Suffern-Bear Mountain

Lake Welch is a rather wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; February is the month with the least moisture. Pond, and a day at charming Old Sebago Beach close to Lake Welch is a splendid thing to do. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Lake Welch. Spend the day on the beach at New Sebago Beach while you're here at Lake Welch,
and charming scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Mt. Peter. While you're here at Lake Welch you can take a hike along the Breakneck Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Breakneck Pond is near
Lake Welch, and from Lake Welch you get a tremendous sight of Big Hill. Summer at Lake Welch comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the
highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows at Lake Welch through the wintertime regularly descend into the 10's.
