If you are in Orange county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Washington. Newburgh/New York City N KOA is a perfect campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Stillwell Lake Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Browns Pond, and dry warm beds await you at New York City Newburgh Stewart Airport Super 8 Motel. | | on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Summertime highs at Lake Washington commonly tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Washington dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. at Sterling Forest is one of those things you just should do. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Washington a wet place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake
is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Popolopen Creek, and you can stay the night at K O A-hudson Valley Campground. Lake Washington really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. A round of
golf at nearby Mill Creek Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Moodna Creek. You get a fine sight of Snake Hill from Lake Washington, and good hiking is available along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail.
