Lake Tiorati is a lake worth visiting. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn is a great site to spend a night or two, and while you're here, you could also go to scenic Lake Askoti. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Lake Tiorati. If you come at the right time of year, Ramapo River offers some pleasant whitewater; Central Valley Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Tiorati. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Tiorati. high level of rainfall makes Lake Tiorati a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is May, and February on the other hand is the driest.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Peter if you're
here; nearby you locate the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Breakneck
Ridge Trail. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a fine place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Robert Moses is a splendid place to camp.
If you're here at Lake Tiorati, you could check out Surebridge Brook, and Lake Skannatati is a nearby lake that you could check out. The top of Bradley Mountain is easily distinguished from Lake Tiorati; if you're looking for a beach
nearby we recommend New Sebago Beach. The Woodtown Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Lake Tiorati.
