The top of Bull Hill is easily distinguished from Lake Surprise, and a scenic lake like Cold Spring Reservoir is a perfect spot to take a look at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Surprise a wet location; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Lake Surprise that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Pond is a brilliant location       for that; the Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lake Surprise is right by the Stillwell Lake Trail, and why not take a look at Breakneck Point also since you're here. A pleasant nearby hotel is The Thayer Hotel, and there's whitewater on Popolopen Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. If you came to camp Sebago Cabins Harriman is a good place to do that, and let's not forget                  Breakneck Brook which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest, and Quality Inn Fishkill is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Woodtown Trail; you'll find a charming lake called Melzingah Reservoir. At Lake Surprise all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Surprise. You absolutely must like Lake Surprise.
