Lake Surprise is always a pleasure to visit. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a pleasant campground here, and Country Side Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest. Lake Surprise ordinarily gets much rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Pond is a nice place to camp, and close by you locate the Stillwell Lake Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. The snow is nice at Sterling Forest. spend a night or two.
Breakneck Point is in the neighborhood and always good to stop at, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on
the Woodtown Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and the vista of Bull Hill is charming. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like The Garrison Golf Club, and paddling on Popolopen
Creek is so much fun.
Breakneck Brook is right next door to Lake Surprise and is always a pleasure to stop by, and Lake Surprise is not the only site nearby, Beacon Reservoir is a nearby lake.
