is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Ramapo River. There's whitewater on Popolopen Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and the top of Cranberry Mountain is easily distinguished from Lake Skannatati. Lake
Skannatati is right by the Torne Mount Ivy Trail, and New Sebago Beach is quite nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Skannatati has to offer,
you can camp at Camp wabenaki, and dry warm beds await you at Tuxedo Motel. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Skannatati. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout
the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Skannatati. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Skannatati a wet spot; May is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month
with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail, and why not pop by a swamp like Green Swamp since you're here at Lake Skannatati.
