    It's always fun to stop by Lake Sebago. A good location for whitewater paddling near Lake Sebago is Ramapo River, and swamps don’t sound that good but Black Ash Swamp near Lake Sebago is quite good. There's great hiking along the Pine Meadow Trail; a spree to New Sebago Beach is always a fine idea. Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do close to Lake Sebago. Black Ash Mountain can be spotted from Lake Sebago, as expected you could also pop by Little Long  
   Pond since you're here; it's not far at all.
Lake Sebago is not the only place close by, Lake Wanoksink is a close by lake; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest since you're here. Lake Sebago is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. On a lovely day you can have a look at Old Sebago Beach next to Lake Sebago.

               wonderful. Popolopen Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Lake Sebago, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is Spook Rock Golf Course. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Torne Mount Ivy Trail, and you can stay the night at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be. Diamond Creek is a glorious local stream. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Sebago has to offer, you can camp at Camp wabenaki.
High temperatures at Lake Sebago during the long summer days are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Sebago temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Sebago; Kakiat Trail is a wonderful local trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Suffern, Ny is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Skiing at Mt. Peter is one of those things you just ought to do, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn is a nice choice.
