Near Lake Sebago you come across a golf course called Spook Rock Golf Course; one of the best things about this site is its proximity to Old Sebago Beach. A day on the slopes of Mt. Peter is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Sebago that you need to camp here for a while, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a splendid place for that, and do take a hike on the Torne Mount Ivy Trail.       Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Lake Sebago. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Inn, and there's whitewater on Popolopen Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. A lake close by is Lake Skemonto; swamps are out of the ordinary places and Black Ash Swamp in the neighborhood of Lake Sebago is no exception. Throughout the summer months at Lake Sebago temperatures are mostly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures                  plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Sebago. A great deal of rain falls at Lake Sebago; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Suffern, Ny is a great location to get some rest, and the snow is splendid at Sterling Forest. If you came to camp Camp wabenaki is a brilliant place to do that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. Lake Sebago is not the only spot nearby, Pine Meadow Lake is a nearby lake, and Lake Sebago is right by the Kakiat Trail. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. There are some fine whitewater spots on Ramapo River, and Black Ash Mountain is clearly visible from Lake Sebago.
