Go to Lake Rip Van Winkle if you want to go to a nice lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Rip Van Winkle. There are glorious places to discover along the Willow Trail; Pine Hollow Campgrounds And Pine Hollow Estates is a great local campground. | | Kill River, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Allen Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Plattekill Creek; you need to stop by Star Rock since you're here. Don't leave Lake Rip Van Winkle without first going for a hike along the Phoenicia Trail; pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Windham Mountain. a round of golf at nearby Colonial Country Club is a good way to kill some time. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Catskill Mountains, too great to be true. Going for a hike on the Spruceton Trail is always a pleasant
adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Doherty's Mountain Campground is a glorious place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Hotel Mountain Brook is a pleasant site to get some rest, and a lake nearby is Grill Lake. From
a rain point of view Lake Rip Van Winkle is a rather typical place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do
here at Lake Rip Van Winkle. Onteora Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and here at Lake Rip Van Winkle you can catch a glimpse of Clum Hill. After a long day outdoors Hotel Vienna is a glorious location to spend a night
or two, and hey, Gotta ski right? Hunter Mountain is a great place to do that. Lake Rip Van Winkle is one of the lakes here in the Catskill Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lake Rip Van Winkle. Once the sun is
down it plunges down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Rip Van Winkle.
