So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Catskill Mountains, too magnificent to be true. Camping at Doherty's Mountain Campground is always a wonderful experience; the Phoenicia Trail offers hiking at its best. Any time is a delightful time at Lake Rip Van Winkle if you fancy the outdoors. Hotel Vienna is a glorious place to get some rest, and great hiking is available along the Spruceton Trail. Lake Rip Van Winkle is one of the lakes here in the Catskill Mountains.

a perfect sight of Clum Hill from Lake Rip Van Winkle, and what would winter be without some skiing at Hunter Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Colonial Country Club is
around here, and Plattekill Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the Catskill Mountains. Lake Rip Van Winkle is a location with many visitors from Kingston, and a striking
lake like Leach Lake is a delightful place to stop at. A good close by hotel is Hotel Mountain Brook, and camping is available at Pine Hollow Campgrounds And Pine Hollow Estates. There's wonderful hiking along the Willow Trail;
do stop by Tannersville Reservoirs, it's a gorgeous lake. All year is a great time in the Catskill Mountains if you go for the outdoors. High temperatures at Lake Rip Van Winkle during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's,
and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; night lows all through the wintertime for Lake Rip Van Winkle tend to be in the 0's. From a rainfall point of view Lake Rip Van Winkle
