Lake Rip Van Winkle is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. During the warmest time of the year at Lake Rip Van Winkle highs are regularly in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Lake Rip Van Winkle nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. driest month. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. You'll come across a lovely lake called Grill Lake near Lake Rip Van Winkle, and you have to undeniably go to Star Rock
while you're here. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Catskill Mountains, too great to be true. If the weather is fine here at Lake Rip Van Winkle, you can go for a hike along the Phoenicia Trail, and since you're here
you can play some golf at Colonial Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Rip Van Winkle is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Doherty's Mountain Campground is a wonderful local campground, and the snow is good at
Hunter Mountain. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Windham Mountain is in close proximity to Lake Rip Van Winkle; one of the main features of the surroundings of Lake Rip Van Winkle is Clum Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Dry
warm beds await you at Hotel Vienna; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Spruceton Trail. Camping at Pine Hollow Campgrounds And Pine Hollow Estates is always a delightful experience, and if you need a location to
stay Winwood Inn is a magnificent choice. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do close to Lake Rip Van Winkle. While you're here at Lake Rip Van Winkle you can take a hike along the Willow Trail.
