choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Beaver Kill River offers some brilliant whitewater. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Schiff Trail; camping at Lake Ophelia is splendid fun, Likimbra Campgrounds is a splendid
local campground.
Lake Ophelia mostly gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. At Lake Ophelia you can spot Walnut Mountain, and for you golfers we recommend close by Sullivan County Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful.
