Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and you can spend the day on the beach at New Sebago Beach. Take a side trip to Bockey Swamp Brook; if you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Central Valley Golf Club. Summertime highs at Lake Nawahunta regularly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. For the period       of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Nawahunta dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Barnes Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at Bear Mountain Inn. Lake Nawahunta is a wet location that gets lots of                  precipitation; most of the rain falls all through May while February is generally the driest month. A nice place to camp here at Lake Nawahunta is Beaver Pond; you can hit the slopes at Sterling Forest close by. Why not camp at Sebago Cabins Harriman since you're here at Lake Nawahunta, and Mt. Peter is a very popular ski area nearby. Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Lake Nawahunta. Get dripping wet paddling on Moodna Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Black Mountain can be observed from Lake Nawahunta, and paddling on Popolopen Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.
