Lake Mohegan is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Looking for something close to Lake Mohegan? Gregory Pond is close at hand, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Mohegan; Woodtown Trail is a great local trail. A round of golf at nearby The Garrison Golf Club is a splendid way to kill some time; Beaver Pond is a nice campground here.
There's great hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and you can run the rapids of Popolopen Creek.

| | All through the summer months at Lake Mohegan temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Mohegan are in the 10's. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Lake Mohegan. Some of the water nearby flows, like Mohegan Outlet, and you can stay the night at Sebago Cabins Harriman.

Lake Mohegan. This lake is so wonderful. Moodna Creek is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Lake Mohegan, and don't leave Lake Mohegan without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
The
high level of precipitation makes Lake Mohegan a quite wet spot; May is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
