    Beautiful Lake Julia has much to offer visitors. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Lots of folks from Utica-Rome come to Lake Julia, and swamps are attention-grabbing places and Tamarack Swamp close to Lake Julia is no exception. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Julia; Party Trail is a nice  
   local trail; if you need a site to stay Red Roof Inn Utica is a wonderful choice.
This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. There's so much to do here at Lake Julia that you need to camp here for a while, Trail's End Campground is a perfect place for that; Alder Creek Golf Course & Country Inn is a pleasant golf course close by. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. All the water falling down
 
               from the sky makes Lake Julia a wet place; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Lake Julia has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Utica, and since you're here, you could also check out wonderful Hinckley Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Crandall Falls is an inspiring place to stop at while here, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Black Creek. Summertime at Lake Julia comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Julia.
You'll locate a picturesque lake called Evans Pond near Lake Julia; fine hiking is available along the Forty Mountain Trail. You get a nice vista of Bailey Hills from Lake Julia. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Julia has to offer, you can camp at Kayuta Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Black River offers some great whitewater, and everyone close by loves skiing at Woods Valley.
Go for a hike on the Stone Dam Trail; why not pop by nearby Beaver Meadow Brook if you're here at Lake Julia.
