Through the summer months here at Lake Gleneida, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Lake Gleneida during the wintertime typically       drop into the 10's. Lakes are such serene places, why not visit West Branch Reservoir near Lake Gleneida; on a lovely day you acquire a nice sight of Mount Pisgah from Lake Gleneida. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tenmile; you can go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Gleneida a quite wet site; through May this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.                  Here at Lake Gleneida you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown; if you come at the right time of year, Wappinger Creek offers some great whitewater. You'll find a lovely lake called Palmer Lake near Lake Gleneida, and if you came to camp Camp Kiwi is a splendid site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Inn at Arbor Ridge and Cnf Ctr is a splendid place to get some rest; enjoy a round of golf at Centennial Golf Club of New York. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really bountiful here at Lake Gleneida.
