All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Bonita a wet place; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Near Lake Bonita you find Clothier Hollow which is a brilliant site to explore, and an afternoon playing golf at Bend of the River Golf Club is always a pleasure. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things next to Lake Bonita. A       wonderful close by hotel is Birches Motel, and you can stay the night at Fuller Lakes Campgorund. The snow is pleasant at Hickory Ski Center. This lake is so wonderful. The principal highlight in the area is the Palmertown Range, and do put some time aside to spend at Spier Falls since you're here at Lake Bonita. Summertime highs at Lake Bonita usually tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in                  the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Bonita are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to West Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and you're sure to encounter some great folks from Glens Falls here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Hudson River, and Lake Bonita is not the only place nearby, Lake Ann is a nearby lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Bonita has to offer, you can camp at American Campgrounds Of Saratoga, and after a long day outdoors Mc Gregor Inn Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two.
