National Camp Assn is a glorious local campground; there's magnificent hiking along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. Some close by water includes Beaver Pond Brook; the Woodtown Trail offers hiking at its best. Upper Lake Cohasset is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Green Swamp is right nearby.

day, Camp wabenaki is a great site to camp nearby; Sterling Forest is a good local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Howard Johnson Inn is a glorious location to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Ramapo River for all you
adrenaline kick people.
Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Peter. For the period of the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Lake Askoti; the night is slightly cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. High temperatures
during the winter are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Askoti temperatures dip to the 10's. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Askoti a pretty wet place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February.
