Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Neversink River. There's so much to do here at Lake Arkin that you need to camp here for a while, Pleasant Acres Farm Campground is a nice place for that. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clove Brook, and Lake Arkin is not the only site close by, Lockenhurst       Pond is a close by lake. If you get bored of Lake Arkin, you could also explore nearby Hawthorne Lake, and you can stay the night at Rayewood Rv Center. Through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Lake Arkin. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Arkin. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing                  awaits you at Mountain Creek, and if you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Tamaqua Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Arkin you locate the Lost Cabin Trail which is a fine hiking trail. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Arkin a reasonably wet location; most of the rain falls during May; the driest month is February. Any time is a good time at Lake Arkin if you adore the outdoors.
