After a long day outdoors The Lodge at Woodcliff is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Erie Canal. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Lake Lacoma. Brookwood Inn is a perfect location to get some rest; Ravenwood Golf Club is a good golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful.       A nice spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Lake Lacoma is Irondequoit Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Blackwalnut Campground is a magnificent site to camp. Bristol Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and there's some flowing water nearby, Cross Canal Brook is a stream you can take a look at while you're here. From a rainfall point of view Lake Lacoma is a quite normal place; most of the rain falls during August, and January                  meanwhile is the driest month. During the days of summer at Lake Lacoma temperatures are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Lacoma.
