Camping at Lake Lacoma is nice fun, Creekside Campsite/RV Park is a nice local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Erie Canal offers some good whitewater. Why not camp at Blackwalnut Campground since you're here at Lake Lacoma. At Lake Lacoma throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and       overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Lake Lacoma tend to be in the 10's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bristol Mountain while you're here, and a round of golf at nearby Ravenwood Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. Lake Lacoma gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; January meanwhile                  is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Brookwood Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and a wonderful lake like Kettle Lake is a pleasant spot to have a look at. If you need a location to stay Woodcliff Lodge Resort & Center is a good choice, and if you're popping by from Rochester, you won't be the only one.
