If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Little Falls Municipal Golf Course is in close proximity, and Bacon Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Kyser Lake is a place with many visitors from Amsterdam, and if you need a site to stay HMS Host is a good choice. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kyser Lake. Once       the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Kyser Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Crystal Grove Diamond Mine and Campground is a pleasant campground here, and get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of East Canada Creek. Kyser Lake is a great location to camp, Cooperstown Shadow Brook Campground is a great location, and you can run the rapids of Spruce                  Creek. From a rain point of view Kyser Lake is a relatively common place; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
