Do stop by Lake Kushaqua while you're in this part of New York. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Lake Kushaqua is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Village is a nice local campground; if you need a place to stay Woodlake Inn is a perfect choice. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. People from Malone love to come to Lake

There's so much to do here at Lake Kushaqua that you need to camp here for a while, Donaldson George A and Sons is a perfect location for that, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the McKenzie Pond Trail. a glorious adventure, and dry warm beds await you at THE HOTEL SARANAC. Near Lake Kushaqua you discover the Schwartz Trail which is a glorious hiking trail; Buck Pond is a great lake close by. Buck Pond Hill is easy to spot from
Lake Kushaqua. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Saranac River - North Branch; why not head up to Whiteface Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Lake Kushaqua
sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Lake Kushaqua temperatures are usually
in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Lake Kushaqua. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Salmon River, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop at Club Pond.
