The beauty of Korby Lake is reason enough to stop by. Monroe Country Club is a glorious golf course nearby, and going for a hike on the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail is always a fine adventure. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Korby Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Korby Lake.

If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter is close to Korby Lake; Korby Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp wabenaki is a great local campground. This lake
is so wonderful. Ramapo River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Comfort Trail. Balsam House Inn at Friends Lk. is a fine place to get some rest, and a day on the
slopes of Sterling Forest is just what you need.
Seely Brook flows through this region. There's so much to do here at Korby Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Robert Moses is a pleasant place for that.
