This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Putnam Creek; don't leave Knob Pond without first going for a hike along the Bear Pond Trail. Knob Pond really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. A delightful nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel Ticonderoga, and of course, this is a tremendous       area for people who like lakes, Cedar Bridge Pond is a lake in the vicinity. So much exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just mind-boggling. Don't leave Knob Pond without first checking out Eagle Cliff, and nearby you find Ore Bed Bay. Camping is available at Echo Lake Southwoods, and there's great hiking along the Clear Pond Trail. Knob Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. A splendid sight of lovely Bald Pate is available                  from Knob Pond, and Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Knob Pond get into the 70's; the nighttime is slightly colder of course, typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Knob Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Adirondack Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Dudley Pond is right next door to Knob Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Knob Pond; Rock Pond Trail is a splendid local trail. Knob Pond gets a typical amount of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Knob Pond has to offer. This lake is so wonderful.
