    If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Knickerbocker Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Knickerbocker Pond a wet site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Knickerbocker Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Camping at Knickerbocker Pond is great fun, Covered Bridge Campsite is a great local campground, and why not head up to Belleayre  
   and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Seager West Branch Trail is splendid fun; dry warm beds await you at Beaverkill Valley Inn.
A wonderful place for whitewater paddling right next door to Knickerbocker Pond is Mill Brook, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Holiday Mountain. High temperatures at Knickerbocker Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly
 
               chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Knickerbocker Pond temperatures dip to the 10's. Lakes are fine; Maple Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Knickerbocker Pond, and the peak of Rattle Hill can be seen from Knickerbocker Pond.
If you came for an overnight stay Hunter Lake Campgrounds is a glorious site to camp. De Bruce Country Inn is a great place to get some rest, and if you're here, you could check out Mine Brook.
