On a magnificent day at Klondike Reservoir you can take a hike along the Party Trail, and Americas Best Inns-Herkimer is a brilliant spot to get some rest. The Twin Lakes Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Klondike Reservoir, and Ace Of Diamonds Mine is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Klondike Reservoir, you can go for a hike along       the California Trail, and swamps don’t sound that magnificent but Crosby Vly in the vicinity of Klondike Reservoir is pretty magnificent. Throughout the summer at Klondike Reservoir highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Klondike Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Get covered                  with water paddling on East Canada Creek, and you can stay the night at Adirondack Gateway Campground. A nice close by hotel is Knights Inn Little Falls, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Dolgeville Reservoir is just a very short distance away. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Spruce Creek, and if you've had enough of Klondike Reservoir, Mud Lake is close by.
