Kiwassa Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. The view of lovely Dewey Mountain near Kiwassa Lake is great, and a lake close by is Little Ampersand Pond. Kiwassa Lake regularly gets a lot of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Dry warm beds await you at THE HOTEL SARANAC; for you golfers we recommend close by Saranac Lake Golf Club.

| | Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Really good skiing awaits you at Mount Pisgah, and if you come at the right time of year, Ausable River - West Branch offers some brilliant whitewater. Whiteface Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff; Donaldson George A and Sons is a glorious local campground. The Schwartz Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Cold Brook.

is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Cold River in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Woodlake Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There's great hiking along
the Indian Pass Trail; Oseetah Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
You clearly have to like the Adirondack Mountains. Pioneer Village is a fine campground nearby; Ampersand Bay is very near and is a great place to stop
by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Kiwassa Lake while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Kiwassa Lake are in the 0's. Kiwassa
Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Good hiking is available along the McKenzie Pond Trail.
