    A visit to Kiwassa Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Ampersand Bay next to Kiwassa Lake is always a great idea, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Indian Pass Trail. Why not camp at Donaldson George A and Sons if you're here at Kiwassa Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Schwartz Trail. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If the weather is wonderful,  
   you obtain a splendid panorama of Dewey Mountain from Kiwassa Lake; if you get bored of Kiwassa Lake you could also have a look at nearby Owl Pond.
After a long day outdoors Woodlake Inn is a great site to spend a night or two, and Whiteface Mountain is a great local ski area. Summer at Kiwassa Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and
 
               nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Kiwassa Lake tend to be in the 0's. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Saranac Lake Golf Club is a fine golf course close by; if you need a spot to stay THE HOTEL SARANAC is a wonderful choice.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Kiwassa Lake. A perfect place for whitewater paddling next to Kiwassa Lake is Cold River. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ausable River - West Branch, and if you came for an overnight stay Pioneer Village is a tremendous place to camp. Kiwassa Lake is not the only place nearby, Second Pond is a nearby lake, and don't forget to take a good little tour to Cold Brook.
Having a wonderful time in the Adirondack Mountains is uncomplicated. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Pisgah is right next door to Kiwassa Lake, and do take a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail. Kiwassa Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Kiwassa Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
