Paddling on Popolopen Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here at Kirk Lake, and some close by water
includes Secor Brook. A great panorama of wonderful Hitchcock Hill is available from Kirk Lake, and do schedule some time to check out Mahopac Point if you have a chance.
Summertime at Kirk Lake comes with high temperatures in
the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Kirk Lake.
