Swinging Bridge Lake Campgrounds is a splendid local campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Schiff Trail. Kilcoin Pond is a pretty wet place mostly with lots of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is generally the driest month.       Why not camp at Happy Days Campground since you're here at Kilcoin Pond, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Lost Cabin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lemons Brook is a nice spot to visit; enjoy a round of golf at Island Glen Country Club.
