Through the summer here at Kibby Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Kibby Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Eagle Pond; hiking is a popular thing       to do around Kibby Pond; Oregon Trail is a good local trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Get dripping wet paddling on Georgia Brook, and Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Kibby Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Dippikill Office is a brilliant local campground; wonderful skiing awaits you at Gore Mountain. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Kibby Pond. This is a pleasant vicinity for folks who like lakes. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Balm of Gilead Brook; if the weather is lovely, you get a nice panorama of Barker Mountain from Kibby Pond.
