Kettle Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Hunt Hills is clearly visible from Kettle Lake, and a brilliant close by hotel is The Lodge at Woodcliff. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Kettle Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is January. Kettle Lake is not far at all from Rochester, and Ravenwood Golf Club is a great golf course nearby.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | Do stop at Lake Lacoma right next door to Kettle Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; camping is available at Blackwalnut Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Creekside Campsite/RV Park while you're here at Kettle Lake; a good spot for whitewater paddling is Erie Canal.
Head up to Bristol Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and it's a perfect idea to take a look at Mill Creek. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Irondequoit | |

Creek; if you need a place to stay Brookwood Inn is a glorious choice. For the duration of the days of summer at Kettle Lake highs are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime
the highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Kettle Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
