Kettle Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Kettle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Creekside Campsite/RV Park, and as expected Mill Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at. The annual rainfall here at Kettle Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. Gotta ski! Bristol Mountain is a splendid location to do that, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Irondequoit Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Brookwood Inn, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Erie Canal. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Kettle Lake.
