Be careful coming to Kensico Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Lakes? Sure, Cranberry Lakes is nearby; a golf course nearby is Pleasantville Country Club. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Pond is a delightful spot to camp; there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds,       and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott Westchester is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. During the summertime highs here at Kensico Reservoir reach the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Kensico Reservoir. You don’t have to go far from Kensico Reservoir to distinguish the water at Kensico Dam. Woodmans Cove is not far from                  Kensico Reservoir at all; if the weather is delightful, you get a pleasant sight of Kennelwood Hill from Kensico Reservoir. You'll meet a lot of people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here, and Execustay By Marriott is a great place to get some rest.
