    What a nice lake Kendall Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Kendall Pond is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Broken Wheel Campground is a fine spot to camp nearby, and there's whitewater on Poesten Kill River for all you adrenaline junkies. The amount of rainfall that falls at Kendall Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most while February is  
   the month with the least amount of precipitation.
There are some glorious whitewater spots on Green River; you can hit the slopes at Mount Greylock Ski Club close at hand. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area in the neighborhood of Kendall Pond has to offer. Jericho Valley Inn is a glorious site to get some rest; you can stay the night at Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds. Dry warm beds await you at Jiminy Peak; hiking along
 
               the Taconic Crest Trail is magnificent fun.
A glorious location close to Kendall Pond is Satterlee Hollow, and Kendall Pond is right by the Southeast Hollow Trail. Have a good hiking adventure along the Williams Trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Jiminy Peak. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 80's at Kendall Pond, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, typically in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Kendall Pond temperatures sink to the 10's.
