A day on the slopes of Hickory Ski Center is just what you need, and if you get bored of Kellogg Pond you could also check out nearby Harrower Pond. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kellogg Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Kellogg Pond fall into the 0's. A pleasant       close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Amsterdam, and Bunn Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. If you desire a little side spree, try Mudge Hollow; paddling on Fox Creek is so much fun. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A brilliant spot to camp here at Kellogg Pond is Frosty Acres Campgrounds; Econo Lodge Fultonville is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.                  Kellogg Pond is not the only place close by, Kellogg Reservoir is a close by lake, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Schoharie Creek. Why not camp at Arrowhead Marina and RV Park if you're here at Kellogg Pond; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Gloversville for sure.
