Why not take a refreshing hike along the Peenpack Trail, and a magnificent close by hotel is Econo Lodge. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Neversink River - East Branch; Days Inn Of Liberty is a wonderful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Hunter Lake Campgrounds is a good spot to do that, and you can hit the slopes       at Holiday Mountain close at hand. There's so much to do here at Kees Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Bnos Yakov Mikvah is a good place for that; if you come at the right time of year, Neversink River - West Branch offers some tremendous whitewater. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Sullivan County Golf & Country Club is a perfect golf course close by, and Dixie Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Kees Lake                  is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kees Lake; Seager West Branch Trail is a nice local trail. For the period of the warm days of summer at Kees Lake highs are generally in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's.
