This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to discover along the Party Trail; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Woods Valley while you're here. You'll discover a stunning lake called Forestport Reservoir near Kayuta Lake. There's so much to do here at Kayuta Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stysh's Brown Barn Campgrounds is a good place for that. want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Kayuta Lake. After a long day outdoors Utica Red Roof Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two; close by you find the Stone Dam Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Kayuta Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kayuta Lake Campground.
Through the summertime months, highs generally are in the 70's at Kayuta Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at
Kayuta Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Getting to Alder Creek from Kayuta Lake is trouble-free, and going for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the
fun stuff at Kayuta Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Cincinnati Creek; skiing at Snow Ridge is one of those things you just ought to do. Kayuta Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.

Forty Mountain Trail
