Go to Kayuta Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Snow Ridge is one of those things you just must do, and Super 8 Motel - Utica is a great site to get some rest. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do close to Kayuta Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Go for a hike on the Party Trail, and Alder Creek Golf Course & Country Inn is a perfect golf

| | course nearby. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River, and don't forget to take a good little journey to Alder Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Utica is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and Cincinnati Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Much rain falls at Kayuta Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain while February | |

is ordinarily the driest month. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is excellent! Lots of people from Utica-Rome come to Kayuta Lake, and Stysh's Brown Barn Campgrounds is a glorious campground
nearby. Kayuta Lake Campground is a fine local campground, and if you're here, you could also go to wonderful Forestport Reservoir. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. There
are wonderful spots to explore along the Forty Mountain Trail, and beautiful scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Woods Valley. Going for a hike on the Stone Dam Trail is always a great adventure, and do stop by Alder
Pond, it's a delightful lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Kayuta Lake with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Kayuta Lake.

Forty Mountain Trail
 | 12 miles away Since 2001, it has become a bushwhack and can be close to impossible in the spring and summer to find the blazes that indicate the trail. Wet seasons can make the slopes tretcherous, and the trail dissapears at the base of the mountain. One must plot a compass course or use a GPS. The summit offers limited views of the Black River area of the southwestern Adirondacks. Watch for black bears, as they are numerous in this region.... |

There are a golf driving range, volley ball net, horseshoes, rec hall, swimming pool, book exchange, wifi hot spot, and hayrides. Our hayrides guide you through the neighboring farm. We drive through the sugarbush. Maple syrup from the farm is for sale in the store. While doing your laundry you can bring you computer and sit in the lounge to catch up on your email, watch a movie, play a game, read a book or browse through the antiques qnd gifts. You can kick back or stay busy. Firewood and ice available on site. We aim to please. Our prices are reasonable.
