The Seager West Branch Trail is a great hiking trail close to Katz Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Beer Kill River - West Branch. | | a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail, and Holiday Mountain is a magnificent local ski area.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Sandburg Creek. Lakes? Sure, Silver Lake is close at hand. Through the days of summer highs here at Katz Pond reach the 70's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while Katz Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime | |

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lodge At Rock Hill is a brilliant choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Binyan David is a great location to camp. Katz Pond gets lots of water;
May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Braden Brook is a fine location to go to, and camping at Katz Pond is tremendous fun, Lazy G Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground.
