A visit to Lake Katrine is always a good idea. Lake Katrine is a beautiful lake in the Catskill Mountains. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do close to Lake Katrine. Glenerie Falls is an inspiring spot to explore during your stay, and close by you find the Willow Trail which is a great hiking trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Catskill Mountains. Looking for some flowing water? Try Plattekill Creek.

| | Country Club not far from Lake Katrine, and if you need a location to stay Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a nice choice. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Lake Katrine temperatures are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Katrine. So much cool stuff to do in the Catskill Mountains, not enough time. | |

If you're popping by Lake Katrine from Kingston, you won't be the only one. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Katrine has to offer, you can camp at Blue Mt Camp Ground.
Superlodge is a good place to get some
rest, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Hunter Mountain. Lake Katrine is a good site of normal rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Esopus Creek. There's so much to do here at Lake Katrine that you need to camp here for a while, Saugerties/Woodstock KOA is a tremendous place for that.
