From a rainfall point of view Junius Ponds is a quite common spot; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. Camping at Junius Ponds Cabins and Campground is always a magnificent experience, and whitewater paddling is great on Keuka Outlet. This lake is so wonderful. Flint Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close       by; a perfect close by hotel is Red Carpet Inn Phelps. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Junius Ponds. Camping is available at Cheerful Valley Campground, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Inn Geneva Lakefront is a fine spot to spend a night or two. There are plenty of folks from Seneca Falls here at Junius Ponds; a golf course close by is Big Oak Public Golf Course. Throughout the months of                  summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Junius Ponds, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
