If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Jug Pond. You can run the rapids of Schroon River close to Jug Pond; since you're here you can take a hike along the Dix Trail. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Going for a hike along the Peaked Hill Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is       so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and you can stay the night at Shearer's Riverside Campsite. That right there is heaps of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Black Brook flows through this region, and The Branch is a nice whitewater spot nearby. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whiteface Mountain since you're here, and Paradise Pines Camping Resort is                  a magnificent campground nearby. Summertime highs at Jug Pond typically tend to be in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's.
