In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Jones Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Cottages At Kent Road is a good choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Ten Mile River offers some tremendous whitewater. Lakes? Sure, Pell Lake is nearby, and if you're visiting from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, you won't be the only one. Be careful coming to Jones Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again.

Jones Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Jones Pond.
Get yourself into a kayak
and hit Tenmile, and Bald Mountain can be distinguished from Jones Pond. Why not camp at Sylvan Lake Beach Park since you're here at Jones Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Le Chambord. Very stunning scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Thunder Ridge, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Dutcher Golf Course.
