And that's not all you can       do here at Johnson Pond. Johnson Pond is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Echo Lake Southwoods is a delightful site to camp nearby, and The Branch is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. There are perfect places to discover along the Pharoah Mountain Trail, and a lake close by is Proctor Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Johnson                  Pond called the Peaked Hill Trail, and you can run the rapids of Schroon River. Johnson Pond is a good place of common rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of picturesque Long Sue near Johnson Pond is great, and going for a hike on the Long Swing Trail is always a wonderful adventure. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Johnson Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Johnson Pond dip into the 0's.
