John Pond is a lake worth visiting. For the duration of the summertime here at John Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Hudson River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Sucker Brook Trail. is perfect at Gore Mountain, and a swamp like Mud Pond near John Pond has lots of interesting things to see. There's whitewater on Cedar River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Lone Birch Motel is a good location to get some
rest. Just can't get enough of John Pond. John Pond Brook is a great local stream, and after a long day outdoors Binder's Cabins is a good place to spend a night or two.
