Throughout the summertime here at John Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows in       the 0's for John Pond. Man, is there loads of fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The Oregon Trail offers hiking at its best; Chimney Mountain is picturesque and can be distinguished from here. John Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping is available at Hoss's Country Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar River. This lake is so wonderful.
